Industrial Conclave

The Industrial Conclave 2024 was a highly anticipated event designed to offer valuable insights into career opportunities and industry trends within the fields of Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), and Electronics and Communication (EC). The conclave aimed to serve as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and career advancement, featuring a series of informative sessions led by esteemed professionals.

I-Plan All Saint's College

On July 22nd, 2024, the sessions began with Akash J J, an esteemed professional with roles including Ambassador for IEEE Asia Pacific Region ACEI and CEO of Legacy IEDC. He delivered an in-depth presentation on entrepreneurship, innovation, and invention. Akash J J focused on strategies for fostering creativity and successfully bringing innovative ideas to market, underlining the importance of a global perspective and cross-regional collaboration.

CEO Conclave

The CEO Conclave, held on July 10, was a collaborative effort by IVAEX, Legacy IEDC UCK, Kerala Startup Mission, and Riglabs Collective. It featured prominent speakers and industry leaders who engaged in insightful panel discussions.

Grand Quest Auto

On July 4, 2024, the University College of Engineering at the Karivattom Campus hosted an exciting event called "The Grand Quest Auto: A Techno Treasure Hunt." This event was specially designed for students of the University of Kerala, Karivattom Campus. The treasure hunt took place across the vast 450-acre campus and involved six teams competing against each other. Each team had to complete 10 challenging tasks, testing their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The goal was to finish all the tasks as quickly as possible to win the grand prize.

Escape Room

From July 3 to July 5, 2024,LEGACY the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) organized a captivating "Escape Room" event during the RENVNZA Tech Fest. This event took place in a specially designed hall and included multiple themed rooms, each offering unique challenges inspired by horror motifs and the popular "Squid Game"series.

GDSC WOW

GDSC Wow 2024, held at JAIN University, Cochin, was a premier event organized by GDSC Kerala that aimed to bring together students, developers, and tech enthusiasts for a day of learning, networking, and innovation. The event featured a series of workshops, panel discussions, and a hackathon, focusing on the latest trends in technology and providing a platform for students to showcase their skills.

Uceverse

On April 19th, UCEK witnessed an unprecedented event organized collaboratively by Legacy IEDC and GDSC UCEK. Breaking away from the usual semi-formal gatherings, the inaugural edition of UCE VERSE provided a unique platform for Execom members and students to engage on a variety of topics.

Origami Workshop

On 6th March, As part of NEXERA fest the Tech-fest of Industrial Engineering Department ,College of Engineering Trivandrum, LEGACY IEDC UCEK organized an Origami workshop featuring Vishwa R, the Co-founder of Kagazee India and Quality and Operation Lead of Legacy IEDC UCEK. The event aimed to blend art and technology by showcasing the potential of Origami in robotics.

A 24 hour Hackathon on AI & ML

"Discover and solve with AI and ML" IEDC UCEK in collaboration with Department of Bioinformatics, Kerala University and Waggle Labs is conducting "Hack" - a 24Hr Hackathon where you can showcase your programming skills. Winners will receive prizes from a cash pool of 6K. Selected teams will also have the opportunity to receive mentorship. Theme: Agriculture Sustainable Development Healthcare ⚠️ Guidelines: Team must consist of 3–4 members only All team members must register individually Ensure that all team members enter the same 'Team name' Green Protocol must be strictly followed Team must bring their necessary tools Problem statements will be provided at the start of the event Registration Fee: ₹299 Per Participant.

IDEA PITCHING COMPETITION

Knock Knock, who is it? It's your opportunity to pitch amongst IITs in IIT Bombay "Eureka" Business Plan Competition (Prize pool of INR 65+ Lakhs). Mr. Shiju Babu (CEO and Managing Director - OBH Group of Companies, panelist at Global Manufacturing and Industrial Summit (GMIS), Dubai 2021) has offered to panel a screening B-plan round. He has been given veto power directly from IIT-Bombay to select and recommend a limited number of teams to pitch directly in "Eureka".
